Comment: OFS-OOKG/US Through-beam sensor Threaded type M12 x 1 Quick disconnect Transmitter Sensing range 4m

Description: Automation technology has advanced such that it is impractical without the use of photoelectric sensors. They are used where non-contact detection of the position of objects is required. Unlike inductive proximity sensors, the target material is not important and the sensing range is much longer.

All photoelectric sensors include a transmitter and receiver. The transmitter sends light to the target area and the receiver uses either the presence of light or the absence of light to determine whether a target is present or not. The standard photoelectric sensors are divided into four groups depending on the operating principle:
  • Thru-beam sensors
  • Retroreflective sensors
  • Diffuse reflection sensors
  • Diffuse reflection with background suppression

Features:
  • 12 mm diameter housing
  • Adjustable sensitivity for reliable target detection
  • Durable special-coated brass housing to minimize physical damage
  • Alarm output for remote indication of marginal signal
  • Three LED display indicates power, output and marginal signal
